Tom Weldon, 2004 MBA/GM graduate, has been promoted to Key Account Manager focusing on development of National Accounts for Starbucks Coffee’s Emerging Channels Division.

Randolph Williams, 2004 MBA/TM graduate, has recently accepted a promotion working in a Customer Relationship Management role with a strategic partner that meets the technology needs of the heavy-duty commercial vehicle industry.

Alyssa Wong, 2000 MBA graduate, is working as a Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service in Glendale, Calif.

Linda Zaiontz, 2004 MBA/HCM graduate, was recently appointed Chief of Recreation Therapy Service for the South Texas Veterans Health Care System in San Antonio, Texas.

Shelley Jo Dula, 2002 MC/MHC graduate, is co-founder and Executive Director of A Guardian Angel Adoptions, LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah.

MSCIS

Kimberly Arlia, 2003 MSCIS graduate, has accepted a position as an Instructor at the community college level. Arlia is also employed as the Dock/Communications Manager for the Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County in North Carolina.

Christie Lewis, 2003 MSCIS graduate, has been promoted to IT/Engineering Support Manager of an Electronic Controls Group at Colonial Pipeline Company, Alpharetta, Ga.

Coretta Poole, 2004 MSCIS graduate, recently celebrated her third anniversary as Delivery Manager, Telco Bench East at Covansys. Poole has also earned PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.

Mike Sessums, 2003 MSCIS graduate, received a recognition award from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for developing a Web-based system that shows all open tasks on an aircraft as it moves along the assembly line.

Pauline M. Clarke, 2004 MSN graduate, was hired as Clinical Instructor of OR/Perioperative Services for Children’s National Medical Center, Washington, D.C.

Deborah Scalford, 2003 MSN graduate, has been promoted to Clinical Level 4 in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Pa.

Patrolling for Success

Joseph Cole, 2004 BSCJA graduate, was recently appointed to the position of Detective Sergeant for the Aberdeen (New Jersey) Police Department, where he serves as the department’s Bias/Intimidation Crimes Officer. During his 11 years in law enforcement, he’s worked his way up through the ranks with the Aberdeen Police Department, which has 34 sworn officers and covers approximately five square miles. Cole’s not stopping there, either. After recently graduating with honors, he’s now pursuing a graduate degree in criminal justice administration.

Cole began his career as a State Correctional Officer at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women in Clinton, N.J. From there, he moved to the Aberdeen Police Department, where he served for two years as a Patrol Officer. Next, Cole was assigned to the Detective Division, where he specialized for four years in the investigation of sexual assaults, Megan’s Law and juvenile matters. That was followed by three years as a Patrol Sergeant.

Cole lives in Toms River, N.J., with his wife, Laura, and their three children, Lisa, 14, Joey, 8, and Gina, 6.
